Job Description

• Prepare 2D drawings for boilers, pressure parts, and non-pressure parts (drums, headers, tubes, ducting, etc.).
• Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed component drawings as per ASME and IBR standards.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), cutting plans, and material take-off for procurement and fabrication.
• Ensure drawing accuracy with respect to applicable codes, client specifications, and internal standards.
• Assist design engineers in preparing layouts, PFD/P&ID references, and welding detail drawings.
• Maintain and update drawing records, revisions, and documentation as per QA/QC requirements.
• Coordinate with design, purchase, and production teams to resolve fabrication and erection issues.
• Possess knowledge of Boiler Regulations (IBR), Pressure Vessel Codes (ASME Section I & VIII), and welding symbols.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR), ASME standards, and project quality requirements.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet project deadlines.

Key Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Advanced proficiency in BricsCAD 2D.
• Knowledge of ASME & IBR standards.
• Preparation of GA, fabrication, and detailed drawings.
• Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation.
• Material Take-Off (MTO) and cutting plans.
• Understanding of welding symbols and fabrication drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Ability to work within project deadlines.
